Todd’s own garden in Stepney, East London. The broad south-facing front garden is given over to a romantic tangle of olives, Chusan palms, phillyreas, roses, jasmines, honeysuckles, solanum and wisteria, and dotted with several lapidary monuments. The shadier back garden, surrounded by high brick walls, is laid out as a giant fernery.
