CLOUDS OF SCENT
11th Annual House & Garden Fair at Olympia 27-30 June 2007 ‘Clouds of Scent’ was an ephemeral garden comprised of giant hanging shapes formed entirely of dazzlingly colourful and ambrosial living flowers that floated above a little patch of long grass. The clouds were suspended by wires and arranged in such a manner that when visitors threaded their way down the garden’s central serpentine path they dodged and brushed against the lofty vegetable diadems. The garden was generously sponsored by Crocus.co.uk and The Daily Telegraph. Bronzino (www.bronzino.co.uk) supplied the large bronze cauldrons used to store cut flowers. |
