We have – Historic Royal Palaces - collaborated with the Thames Landscape Strategy in the long term refurbishment the five-kilometre long Barge Walk – a crescent-shaped ribbon of land that extends from Kingston Bridge to Hampton Court Bridge and which lies between the royal estate and the River Thames. Among the changes that have been made are the re-introduction of traditional riparian flora along the banks and the planting of new trees.
